Introducing Adjust’s new diversity campaign

Adjust has always prided itself on being an inclusive and equal opportunity employer.

We firmly believe everyone should have the chance to realize their potential regardless of gender, ethnicity, race or background, and we’re determined to provide support for diverse teams and the opportunity to create a fairer workplace.

We already have a number of initiatives to support this: flexible work arrangements and unlimited vacation offer easier work-life balance, parental benefits (such as childcare programs and enhanced parental leave rights) give parents more time for their families, and we strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone is valued.

In terms of recruitment, we train all employees in unconscious bias awareness, look for team members that are open-minded and tolerant, and insist that headhunters’ and our in-house recruitment team’s shortlists include a balanced representation of all genders and ethnicities.

Introducing Adjust’s diversity campaign

A host of recent studies have proven the benefits of diverse workplaces - showing that employees in diverse teams perform better, are more creative and more tolerant than those in homogenous ones. With over 300 employees from over 40 different nationalities based across the globe, we’re proud of the unique culture Adjust has built based on trust and open-mindedness. But we know that we, and the industry as a whole, can do better.

That’s why we’re pleased to announce the launch of our new diversity campaign, which aims to break down the barriers to diversity and inclusion. As well as supporting all of our team members, we want to encourage the wider community to reach their full potential - ensuring that the tech industry has access to the best talent, now and in the future.

In the next few months, we’ll be hosting a number of events, as well as hearing from our employees across various departments of Adjust - learning what they love about working in the tech industry, their advice for those wanting to move into the sector, what diversity and inclusion mean to them and how we all can support creating a fairer environment. After hearing their opinions and impressions, we hope you will gain unique insights into our team and join our mission.

This project will have several different strands to it, which we will introduce throughout the year. The first of these, looking at women in tech, is below, and will follow with LBGT* representation in the workplace and the community projects we take part in.

Championing Women in Tech

To kick off, we are introducing our Women in Tech project, celebrating the great women working at Adjust. Women account for almost half (42%) of our employees, and we’re always striving to further redress the gender balance across all our departments and locations.

In the upcoming weeks, we’ll be sharing the stories of some of our female employees - starting with Nisha Amembal, Team Lead Technical Account Manager for the EMEA region. Check out the video below to hear her thoughts on diversity and inclusion, and her career path in the tech industry.

With more stories from our employees coming soon, keep an eye on the blog to learn more about the project. We’re also always on the lookout for great talent - so if you think Adjust is the place for you, check out our open positions here, or head over to our careers page to learn more about how we work.
