Facebook adds four new standard events

Facebook has recently introduced a host of new standard events to improve clients’ understanding of customer engagement and the actions users take in-app.

Standard events are a structured way of communicating specific actions made by consumers to Facebook. Each in-app event that clients can track with Adjust, and which correspond to predefined Facebook events, allows the social network to build Lookalike and Custom audiences with the data they transmit.

These new events appear alongside existing ones already offered via the Facebook SDK with App Events.

  • Ad Impressions
  • Ad Clicks
