SDK 4.13

Adjust’s SDK has received a further upgrade. Additional inclusions support continuing GDPR compliance, a new fraud prevention filter with Adjust’s SDK signature system, and we now give clients the ability to get started with uninstall and reinstall tracking. As of today, our SDK improves on the formula of open-source programming with a focus on user security, privacy, and fraud prevention.

GDPR focused

SDK 4.13 furthers our compliance with a means to forget users as required by law. With any future ‘right-to-be-forgotten’ request, user data will be deleted from our systems without worry.

We’ve also created new real-time callbacks, which inform our clients when users choose to be forgotten. This gives clients more insights into how often this occurs, and may help them to discover the reasons why.

This changes nothing regarding our previous status. We’re compliant and ready for GDPR, and have been for some time. In fact, we’ve been ePrivacy Complaint since 2015. At Adjust, we’re privacy first, and always have been.

Additional information on the GDPR can be found on this page as well.

SDK Signature

With Adjust’s SDK Signature, we’ve created a system designed to stop the latest method of fraud. From now, we’re making use of a complex signature to bring you the ultimate security from traffic spoofing.

If you want to utilize this new layer of security, you need to install an SDK versions above 4.12.

Uninstall and reinstall

Our latest feature enables clients to track users throughout the lifetime use of an app, from install, to uninstall, to reinstall. As part of our SDK feature set, the new tools are readily available to use, and can be accessed as a special package, much like Adjust’s Audience Builder and Fraud Prevention Suite.
