Two Callback updates: An upgrade and a new placeholder

Topics

Today we’re releasing a couple of improvements to our callbacks, which create a new way for you to utilize your Adjust data.

The first affects how we report rejected engagements within client callbacks. There’s now an automatic field for rejected reattributions within your callbacks, so there’s no need to set this up separately. All you have to do is simply enter your server endpoint, and start tracking all rejected reattributions.

Previously, {activity_kind} did not return rejected_install or rejected_reattribution as a response via callbacks. From today, when using the {activity_kind} placeholder, both rejected_install and rejected_reattribution will be reported for all engagement types that were rejected, this is only applicable for people using a global callback, as this will make internal reporting more reflective of the data you see in your Adjust dashboard.

The second improvement is a new Adjust placeholder for your callbacks which retrieves push tokens.
