The challenge
Tripledot Studios needed to migrate over 30 live casual games to Adjust, each with hundreds of millions of installs collected over several years. Their entire technical setup, including app development processes, data pipelines, and internal BI systems, had been closely integrated with measurement infrastructure.
The main challenge was how to migrate such a large volume of games and user install records safely, ensuring no loss in paid campaign efficiency, user acquisition budgets, or key performance metrics.
Tripledot Studios also needed to maintain the measurement of existing cohorts, preserve historical install data, and prevent any negative impact on their internal BI, which serves as the company’s main data source.

The solution
Tripledot Studios worked closely with Adjust’s sales, engineering, and leadership teams to plan and execute the migration. Communication was direct and continuous, with shared Slack channels and regular calls connecting Tripledot’s growth, marketing, data engineering, and BI teams with Adjust’s technical experts.
The migration process was tailored to Tripledot’s scale and data requirements. Adjust used its automated device import tool to incrementally import historical and new device records, retaining install sources and install times to bridge older cohorts with new data coming through Adjust.

To maintain accuracy, Adjust’s SDK and Tripledot’s backend were configured to use internal device ID properties, ensuring coverage of all existing user device identifiers and preventing duplicate attribution.

The switch to Adjust for paid campaigns was coordinated carefully between Tripledot’s marketing teams, ad network partners, and Adjust engineers to avoid any disruption to performance or spend.
The results
The migration of more than 30 casual games to Adjust was completed successfully, with all key systems and campaigns running continuously throughout the transition. Tripledot achieved its goal of moving safely to Adjust without losing performance, data, or visibility.
Using the automated device import process, Tripledot retained existing users, preserving historical install data, install times, and cohort tracking. This allowed the team to continue measuring both new and existing users seamlessly within its BI environment.
Tripledot’s internal reporting and data pipelines remained stable, and post-migration validation confirmed data accuracy across all titles. Campaign performance and user acquisition metrics were maintained, with no disruption to spend or efficiency.
