The app ‘adjust Insights’ (hereafter referred to as the App) is owned and operated by adjust GmbH (hereafter referred to as Controller), with registration number HRB140616B and its place of business at Saarbrücker Str. 37a, 10405 Berlin, Germany.

This Privacy Disclaimer serves to inform the user about the purposes of the collection, processing and use of Personal Data by the Controller. We are aware and fully endorse your rights as data subjects and therefore comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective as of May 25th, 2018.

Section 1- Definitions:

User: natural person who installs and uses the App

Controller: the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data

Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’). In connection with the App, Personal Data may include:

  • Device ID’s including all Advertising ID’s
  • MAC Address (only on Android, if Advertising ID is not available)
  • IP Address
  • Device Info, including language, country, local settings, (version of) operating system
  • User agent

Processing: collection, use, retention, alteration, transmission, blocking or deletion of personal data. For this purpose, device and connection data are read out when visiting the App and when interacting with online advertisements related to the App, and are stored for the recognition of a user as well as for tracking his usage behavior.

Section 2- The App:

adjust Insights provides the user with details about his/ her device, namely device/ advertising ID (IDFA for iOS and GPS ADID for Android and Android ID for Android).

Section 3- Purpose of Processing:

The purpose of the collection of this Personal Data is the processing of data for testing and debugging purposes. More specifically, the Personal Data is processed in order to analyze the effect of features of the adjust SDK and for reference in relation to debugging issues with the adjust SDK as well as technical improvements of the Adjust products.

Section 4 – Data Sharing

The Personal Data will be shared with certain third parties (our partners) for testing and debugging purposes, more specifically, when testing and improving integrations with external services or partners in order to insure the stability of the services we provide.

Section 5- Consent:

The user gives consent to the processing of his/ her Personal Data as set out in this Privacy Notice. By declining the consent , the user objects to the processing of his/her Personal Data and the user Personal Data will not be processed.

Section 6- Right to be Forgotten:

The user has the right to object to the processing of Personal Data by Controller and to enforce his right to be forgotten at any time via the ‘forget me’ option within the App. When choosing to be forgotten, user Personal Data will no longer be collected and processed within the App and all user Personal Data in relation to the App will automatically be deleted.
