The next chapter for Adjust

I’m Andrey Kazakov and I’ve taken on the CEO role at Adjust. This is a re-introduction because the company I founded, Acquired.io, was acquired by Adjust in 2019 and through this acquisition I joined the Adjust team which was then acquired by AppLovin in 2021.  During my time at Adjust, I held various roles including VP of Partnership, COO, President and Chairman. 

We’ve made important changes at Adjust, inspired by AppLovin’s culture. AppLovin is one of the most efficient and fastest-growing tech companies right now and we want to bring that level of innovation and growth to Adjust. The product-first approach to drive the greatest impact for our client's businesses, led by engineering and guided by commercial teams, will be the future for Adjust.

I moved over to join the AppLovin advertising team in 2022 as VP of Non-Gaming and I’ve been immersed in the lean and efficient culture that has been so successful at AppLovin. I see how effective it is and I want to bring that same drive and tenacity to Adjust in this next chapter.

While I have loved working for AppLovin, my heart is with Adjust and the SaaS business we have built. As founder and CEO of other SaaS companies including AppScotch (now data.ai) and Acquired.io, I value the importance of entrepreneurial drive and a streamlined approach to building products that benefit our clients.

I see great potential to run Adjust as an engineering-first organization that innovates and brings more functional capabilities to our customers. Marketing performance data and enabling customers to leverage it remains the main reason advertisers partner with MMPs. So, we are focused on bringing more AI and automation to the MMP business.

While MMPs enable advertisers to access their data, business decisions are made and executed outside of it and that's a clear opportunity for us to execute on. I strongly feel the MMP industry has stagnated in recent years and we are going to focus entirely on expanding advertisers' capabilities and providing them with a competitive edge to grow their business.
